On this episode of Momversations the question that has been posed to the panel is Are You Stressed When Dad Watches the Kids?

This is an interesting topic for me. Am I stressed when my husband cares for his children?

Not at all! My husband is a great father!
With him getting ready for his 2010 deployment overseas he needs to get as much daddy- kid time before he goes.
So for me it's a much needed break from it all! Yes he may give them extra treats and do things that I would not want them to do but it's a small sacrifice to getting a couple of hours to myself. Besides they are his kids too, why wouldn't he want to have some one on one time with them and make some great memories for my kids and him.
So for the most part, by all means dad, have fun I'm not worried one bit!

I do have a pet peeve though. Why do people ask me if my husband is "babysitting" the kids? They are his kids, he is caring for them like any parent would. A babysitter stays with your kids for a short period of time, puts them to sleep, then raids your fridge and talks on the phone.
I'm just saying!
