MOMVERSATION MONDAY: Would You Really Be OK if Your Child Was Gay?

Hi everyone! This is another episode of Momversation Monday on Military Wife's Mayhem and guess what?

Giyen Kim of Bacon Is My Enemy asks would you be OK if your child told you they were gay?


Since not everything I said was put in the show. I'll give you the rest of my comments.

I would be one hundred per cent supportive of my children if they were to tell me that they were gay. I would just like to hear it from them.

I do have some concerns for them though.

I worry that once they leave the support system of home, they are not going to have that out in the world. There are still hate crimes that happen because a person is gay. There are no rights for same sex couples who want to be married, and it is more difficult for a same sex couple to adopt. Hopefully that will change but until then, I would worry.

My children are my world. Gay or straight I love them very much!
