MOMVERSATION MONDAY: Condoms and Diaphragms and Vasectomies, Oh My!

Another fun filled episode of Momversation! Rebecca Wolfe of Girl's Gone Child asks "What kind of birth control are you using and do you like it".

First, Heather Armstrong is a hoot! Everything she said about condoms, the pill, the sponge, sleeping in separate bedrooms is pretty much what I would do to prevent from getting pregnant again. Not that I don't love my kids but I'm perfectly fine with two kids! I have my boy and my girly. I'm good! My husband might laugh at the extremes I'm willing to go to not to have baby #3.

But we decided the vasectomy was our best option.

I remember being in the military hospital in the waiting room watching soldier after soldier go in get it done and get out. They have a doctor who comes to the hospital to get the done but he is only there a couple of times a year. They told my husband that someone should be there to drive him home, just in case. I was the only girl there!

Once Cpl. Mayhem was in the room a very nervous soldier sat next to me, just as I went to get up for a change of scenery.

" Are you here to drive him home?" He says, pointing at the room my husband walked into.

"Nope, here to make sure this doesn't happen again!". When I got up I showed my pregnant 8 month stomach!
