What's really great about the Build-A-Bear is that you can get a voice recording put into your animal buddy so that they can have their mommy or daddy with them even though they are away on tour! So great, right?
Not only that, you can go into the stores and build your new pal! You can make them just the way you like your stuffed friend. They have great outfits including military uniforms, and fun accessories like flags and furniture.
Plus Build-A-Bear has a Find-A-Bear® ID program. If your furry friend is ever lost then returned to a Build-A-Bear shop, they can hopefully use this information to send it home to you.
The fun doesn't stop with just your new friend, you are also able to go online and play games!
Here's the best part:
Build-A-Bear is showing their support to US troops in honour of Veterans Day. During November 11th till November 15th, when you purchase a Build-A-Bear you will receive a 20% discount on any transaction at any store! All you have to do is present your military identification card. This offer is good for all members of the armed services including the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Reserve Officer Training Corps.
But I have a $25 gift card that I am giving away right here on A Military Wife's Mayhem!

19 witnessing the mayhem:
I love that there is military uniforms! DH is about to leave for several months and so we want to take our 16 month old to Build a Bear and make him one in a army uniform with the sound chip so he can hear his daddy's voice =-)
If I were to receive the gift card, I would work on finishing my daughter's current "set" of animals. We have a jaguar family. A little princess, and a mommy in a bathrobe.
To complete the set we need a Marine bear to represent daddy who is about to go through boot camp.
I have seen an outfit that looks like dress blues and we would either use that outfit or a camo outfit.

I would put the little camo outfit on...to cute! What a great giveaway...too bad Phil's in Arizona with his military id otherwise I'd go in too!
I am a follower of your blog too
and a fan of your facebook page!
That is so cute! I would've loved to be able to have a camo bear when my dad was in the Air Force.
I'm sure so many military families would love to have it, too!
I think that the camo bear is awesome! My boys would love it! But I'd also buy a camo skirt instead of the trousers to show the proud women serving in the military as well! Hopefully they make them!!!!
Later Mrs Mayhem!
The camo outfit sure is neat for military families! I sure would love to see a red support the troops shirt for clothing, not sure if you can get that one?
That's so sweet! And here I thought Applebees was awesome just for giving away free entrees to the troops. Haha.
Do they have the female Marine dress blues? If I got the card, even though daddy is the marine, I'd get a girl teddy for Sophia in female dress blues. Something original! I see the ones in the men's all the time. :)
I'd love to put the Arctic Fisherman outfit on mine. Super cute and great for the Winter season! http://www.buildabear.com/shop/productdetail.aspx?ProductSKU=7519&Category=Career%2fOccupation+clothing&CallingPage=ProductSummary
