Friend Intro: Sarah!

You know I don't mention a lot of people names on my blog unless I ask but I HAD to introduce you to my pal Sarah!

Sarah was my neighbour when we first got posted on base. When I met her my son wanted to play with her son and their big dog She was the first to introduce herself and I was terribly shy. The whole idea of making new friend was hard for me.

Not only that she was intimidating. When I first met her she was still in her military gear. Yes, in case you missed it from the photo, my pal is a soldier! The whole military life was new to me and I felt terribly intimidated by the uniform. I was even nervous around Cpl. Mayhem for a while, and I still don't know why.

Anyway, for the longest time she would try to get me to come out with her friends, and I would come up EVERY excuse in the book not to go.

"Hubby isn't home and I don't have a sitter"

"It was a busy day today, I was thinking of going to bed early"

"I wish you would have told me sooner, I have plans, sorry!"

I was getting to the point where I was out of excuses, and she STILL tried to get me out!

One night she came over and before I could tell that I had to wash my hair or walk the fish she looked and me and said,

" OK, I know the hubby is home and you can't give me anymore excuses, so before you come up with something else to say, you are coming and I'll get you 30 minutes!"

I had a blast! I'm kind of glad that she didn't give up on me. She is one of my dearest friends and I miss her tons! We were pregnant with our daughters around the same time, we helped her move out of the RHU into her house and she just makes me laugh!

I hope to see her at Christmas, she and I are going to be doing something extra special for my blog that I know many will LOVE!!!
