Momversation Monday: Children Home Alone? How Soon Is Too Soon?

Hello Momversation fans!! It's Monday!!!

And we have a couple of guest panelist on today. No, it's not me. I would love to get back on there though!

Guest Meredith Sinclair of Hoo-dee-Hoo starts our Monday's topic. She asks "When do you leave kids home alone?"

With my kids being only 4 and 22 months, I have a long way before I leave my kids home alone.

But at what age would I leave my kids alone? Not sure really.

For me it would have to depend on how mature my child is and if I could trust him to follow the rules when he/she is home alone. Some say 9 or 10 if you were going to leave to go to the market for a minute or so.

I guess it all depends on the child. I do have specific rules for them when I do decide to leave them alone. Don't answer the door or the phone, unless it's me or Cpl. Mayhem. Follow the house rules and don't kill each other while I'm gone. Giggles!
