Friend Intro: Wanda!

What can I say about this woman.

Well first, this is how we met.

Facebook.

I know, I bet some of you are thinking that I'm crazy? Well actually I might have been...

You see I was looking to make some friends when I moved to our posting and I didn't know where to start. I'm sure there are better ways to meet people, but I went for weird first. I'm also shy so it's easier to do than going somewhere in a large croud to meet people. Hives are forming as we speak!

So I looked on Facebook for military spouses and moms, I wrote a quick note introducing myself and I got NOTHING! So figured these people are just as shy as I am (or snobby, which was my first reaction I'm not going to lie).

But then I received an email from Wanda, saying that she saw my noted and wanted to introduce herself. I was so happy to see a response, I wrote back as soon as I could! We've been friends ever since!

And she has been there for every major emergency, or what I consider a major emergency! She was there when I needed to take Chicky to the hospital. When my car broke down, she called a friend of hers to give me a boost.

We've had our share of crazy moments, from trying to enjoy a fire only to spend that time shooing bugs away. Walking home trying to "rescue" the "stray" cat that crossed our drunken past and accidentally video taping a conversation that NO ONE should ever hear. Did you read that Wanda? Delete it already! LOL!

And her kids, Chunker and Critter are just the cutest kids alive!

But now she is leaving me... Sniff
I know that in this life, friends come and go, but it's still hard to see a great friend move away. Especially one who was there when no else replied!

So tonight, we drink! And Karaoke, ONLY because it's you!
