So if you haven't heard of Insanity let me tell you about it.
Created by Shaun T. it's meant to be a 60 day body transformation.
To be honest I'm scared!
About the workouts, a little yes, especially when you hear from others who have done it how hard it really is.
Here's how it works. Most exercise workouts work you out at a medium rate and then force you to go at your maximum for a minute or so. This workout does the opposite, forcing you to "dig deeper" and go at your max then you get a minute to cool down. I sound like the commercial... Great!
What are the other reasons that it scares me? Not for the workout itself, but the idea of failure.
I've done all the programs and stuff and I've tried to stick with them all, losing on average of 30lbs on each program after every child.
But then I got sick and had to take medication that made me gain all the weight back. So failure, yes, failure is a difficult thing to get over.
I'm also scared of succeeding if you can believe it. Because once I succeed, I'll have to look back at all the time I wasted being fat. All the photos missed with my kids, all the fun fashions I wished I could wear, the feeling of being shy because I was worried what other people saw when they looked at me.
What a waste no?
So were we go, on with the insanity!
I'll post my before and after photos on day 60 as well as my stats!
Just so you know....
