It Took 6 Years...

I finally got a new bedroom set. Yes, a set! Which means I can now donate our college stuff that doesn't match!

Not that they were bad pieces of furniture, they did their time and now it's time to retire and an new group of items are here to take over the responsibility of making the one room in my house my sanctuary.

YES, I got all that from new furniture.

I even got help from Ducky and Chicky with the clean up. And once the guys brought the furniture over they had a great assistant with Ducky directing them to where they needed to go.

So here it my new furniture!

I plan on putting up some art as soon as something speaks to me! And that nightstand IS the best part of the set because I now have something to put my glasses on. Yes, six years, glasses would go on the floor!

I love it! Thank you Cpl. Mayhem for finding the most beautiful set!

Love it... I think most couples leave the bedroom last. Hubby and I did too... We are hoping within the next year to buy a whole new set :) Such an exciting time!!! Congrats :)

Looks great! We don't have a bedroom set either...I room is quite ugly. One day! Hope you can find some art soon that catches your eye

It was either a new sofa or bedroom set. And since the kids are still in this jumping phase, I figured we'd be better off getting a bedroom set so I have somewhere peaceful for myself when Cpl. Mayhem is away on tour.

I'm thinking of getting something soothing for art. I'll be able to see it through the mirror so I don't want something too flashy or I'll never get to sleep! LOL

We bought a bedroom set past fall that looks very very similar! Love it! The color is beautiful.

Chuckled at your bit about college furniture. Everything in our living-room is from college or our parents. Thankfully it is all OAK so it all kind of goes together!
