Christmas at Base Mayhem

This Christmas was amazing! We kept it very simple and it was I have to say the best one so far!

The tree is the best decorated tree we  ever had, if I do say so myself! That's rights I set that bad boy up myself thank you very much! We left the star for Cpl. Mayhem when he got home.

Everyone had some fun wear Cpl. Mayhem's famous Christmas hat with mistletoe attachment! I even got Cpl. Mayhem's traditional photo.

Every year we get a new ornament to add to our tree. I didn't get one this year for some reason but we did end up getting a wonderful handprint ornament from my sister and brother-in-law's little girl Baby B.
I lovingly put it next to my favorite ornaments, the love doves Cpl. Mayhem's best friend got us for our first Christmas together and our wounded soldier.

Cpl. Mayhem and I wrapped presents on Christmas Eve and for the FIRST TIME in 5 years, I miscalculated on the wrapping paper. So guess where I was at nine thirty the night before Christmas. This will be the only time I will be thanking my town for anything, but adding a drug store that's open till midnight was a great idea! 

Ducky was the first to get up and was EXTREMELY patient waiting for Chicky to get up too. Funny how the only time Chicky sleeps in is on Christmas Day! I was really surprised I was able to get a photo of the two of them they were so excited!

They had a blast opening up presents and playing with the new toys they've been asking for. I love Ducky's new saying "Santa got it all right!".

For the most part of the day the kids played with their toys, and we all relaxed while the turkey was in the oven. Oh and for my mother who I said I was going to show how amazing I am:
