The end is near!
We are down to hours now and Cpl. Mayhem will be home with Ducky, Chicky and I!
It's been a whirlwind of emotions and trials for our first tour and now that it's almost over I feel like myself again!
The weight of the world isn't on my shoulders anymore and it feels great!
I wanted to thank everyone who has supported me over the past 8 months! Those who have read and supported me though it all!
I'm so excited to have Cpl. Mayhem back!

I AM SO EXCITED!!! I thought I was down to hours, but it turns out my husband doesn't know his numbers from his letters, lol. I texted him (joking), "If you CAN'T read this, you're on your way home!" I was bored...and figured it would be fun for him to get when he hit the states. About 5 minutes later I get a message, "We haven't even gotten on the plane, what are you talking about?"
What are YOU talking about, lol?? I then had a 20 minutes text conversation about the info he gave me - and how on MY end it showed a homecoming that is only a few hours away. He said, "No, 4 & R will be leaving on the [date]." Uhhh...4 & R are on DIFFERENT SCHEDULES! Are you 4 or R? "I guess I'm R, then!" Jeeeeez. It gives me a few more days to get some things done around the house, but I'm essentially losing 3 whole days, lol!
