Hello Monday!!!
With everything moms have to do in around of a day do you have a hard time saying no people?
I have had days where I planned not one but three play dates for my kids in one day because I couldn't say no to friends. Overwhelming? Yes!
But I have learned over the course of my mommy-hood that it's ok to say no and not feel guilty!
I have had weeks that have become so overwhelming even fun activities become tasking and tedious. And believe me, a night out with the girls is great if I'm not making a to-do list in my head for the next day.
For me I have learned to say no because my family needs a stress-free mom and my friends need a happy Vanessa. I learned that it's okay to say no, and it's not the end of the world. In fact, I've have had plans and then cancelled (with a good amount of time before the event) because it was just one of those busy days and I couldn't physically and mentally be there.
And you want to know something? I've had several of my friends breath a sigh of relief because they were thinking the same thing!
I'm always ready to say no if it doesn't work for me and my life. My key thing is to arrange for another time so that the person asking doesn't think that I'm trying to avoid them. Your time is yours, make the most of it. And if you can't remember what you did in a day you may need to start saying no for your own sanity!
Do you have a problem saying no? Let me know! If you say "no" I'll understand! :D
Later days!
