Yes! I did that!

Over the course of last week I've pretty much had it with the neighbourhood kids interrupting homework time with the multiple door bell ringing and banging. Once my kids hear that, there is no getting back to homework.
So I took a Pinterest idea and added it to my list of things to do and got right on it!!

So I found this one at  Melancholy Smile and I'm so happy I did because yesterday was the FIRST time I didn't have to explain to the kids that Ducky and Chicky couldn't come out to play. Actually what's more annoying is that annoying kid who insists that an explanation is need as to why my kids can't come out. Is that really necessary?! There are a million reasons why, I'm the mom I don't have to explain myself!

ARGH!

So here they are!

Now I hope the kids will get the hint without having to ring my damn doorbell twenty thousand times! Oh and I made two of them! One for the front door and one for the back! Because some kids insist that the answer will change if they go from one door to the other!

Maybe now the kids will get their homework done faster so they can go out to play.
